FRESH: ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ – bülow

bülow returns with “Boys Will Be Boys”!

by Christopher Smith

bülow has just released her latest track “Boys Will Be Boys”. The highly anticipated new music is the first single off an upcoming EP to be released on October 4th. About the new song bülow comments, “Its ironic. A ‘fuck you’ to old sayings that reinforce negative bullshit”.

“Boys Will Be Boys” was written by the JUNO Awad winning pop iconoclast and produced by Michael Wise. The latest single from the German-born singer “Boys Will Be Boys” follows the artist’s summer track “Get Stupid” off Crystalline released earlier this year. Along with the upcoming new EP, bülow is gearing up to head back on the road with LAUV this fall.

German-born and Toronto-based pop-iconoclast, bülow, first burst onto the music scene with the release of EPs “Damaged Vol. 1” and “Damaged Vol. 2”, each instantly resonating with critics and new fans alike. “Damaged Vol. 1” included “Not A Love Song” which earned praise as “beautifully crafted” (NME), “pop genius” (Noisey), and a “star in the making” (Pigeon & Planes). “Damaged Vol. 2″ included “You & Jennifer”, “Honor Roll” and buzzworthy “SAD AND BORED”, praised by PAPER as, “the perfect pop study in contrasts, and further confirms bülow as an artist to watch with razor-sharp wit to boot”.

As well as HillyDilly calling her “one of the brightest new talents in pop.” 2019 has been a busy year, with bülow accepting her first JUNO Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year, joining The Chainsmokers as a feature on “Do You Mean” with Ty Dolla Sign, performing on The Today Show, and releasing her EP “Crystalline” in April.
