Tasha Angela releases her dreamy single “Lost In Nostalgia”
Toronto based singer/songwriter Tasha Angela releases her timeless new single “Lost In Nostalgia” out via Public Records Inc/Universal Music Canada. Director Angelica Milash of Mad Ruk Entertainment (Jessie Reyez, Daniel Caesar, Alessia Cara) magically captures the intrinsic nature and indispensable quality of our nostalgic memories inviting viewers to take a trip down memory lane in the accompanying video.
She tells us “Lost in Nostalgia’ is a slow-paced visual piece that explores nostalgia through a colourful lens of Tasha’s memory. We had so much fun creating this world together”. The video tells the story of longingly remembering the fond memories of the past, the sweet innocence of childhood, and evokes the warmth that comes from the comfort and familiarity of our mindfulness.
In Tasha Angela’s own words: “The “Lost in Nostalgia” video captures the essence of the song by having many elements that relate to the past and being in a reminiscing dream-like state of mind. The visuals for the song means a lot to me as an artist because it captures the feeling, vibe and message of the song perfectly. The production process felt like a breeze because of the amazing people on set and the director who allowed both of our creative minds to shine”. “Lost In Nostalgia” is the first single off of Tasha Angela’s upcoming EP “Hidden Gems” due for release later this year.
