Riley Whittaker asks, “Call This Love?”!
Riley Whittaker is a 15 year old singer-songwriter and musician. She plays multiple instruments including guitar, piano, violin and ukulele and has written over 30 songs to date. She performs often throughout Arizona and was recently a finalist for The Voice InstaBlinds. Riley made her debut in 2017 with the song “Always On my Mind” and has followed this with a number of great songs as she develops and matures as both a person and as a songwriter and performer.
She tells us of her new single “Call This Love?”: “Call This Love” is a medium tempo, groovy pop song about the joy felt in a young relationship/friendship and wondering if these feelings can be called love. I wrote this song a few months ago, and as a teen myself and someone who is surrounded by other teens, I am familiar with some of the feelings we go through, the questions we ask ourselves, and the anticipation of all that’s still ahead of us, and so I was inspired to write this song. I hope others can relate and enjoy!”.
