“On My Mind’ is the debut single from 16 year old singer/songwriter Francis On My Mind (Francesca Nicolescu) who hails from the small town of Onesti in Romania. With an evocative video shot deep in the Transylvanian wilderness, “On My Mind” is a dreamy and bittersweet indie pop confessional that projects the incandescent haze of teenage love, with things coming to an end, blending with hopes for new beginnings.
Immaculately produced by Mihai (aka Yin Creatif) of the acclaimed electropop band Golan, the song showcases Francis On My Mind’s unique introverted style, suffused with a light touch of nostalgia. With more songs to come in 2020, Francis On My Mind is a fresh new voice on the international scene, poised to make waves into the new decade and beyond.
