GUS speaks of “L.O.V.E.”

Rising pop artist GUS has dropped his infectious new single and video for “L.O.V.E.” Produced by and written with Ryan Worsley, the video was shot in a downtown Toronto loft and features GUS brushing up on the things one might do to show “L.O.V.E.” On the track, he tells us, “L.O.V.E.’ is a song I wrote over the summer about showing someone the love they deserve. It’s about being there for someone and that can mean as a friend, a love interest or anyone really. It’s just a fun song to sing and dance to”.

Since the release of his 2019 debut EP “Lower Than The Ground”, he did a full North American and European Tour alongside Johnny Orlando and released his latest single “Miss You” that has surpassed more than a million streams on Spotify. GUS has been hard at work in the studio working on new material. Growing up just outside of Toronto, GUS began writing his own material at 13 and signed his first record deal last on his 18th birthday. Moving his creative process outside the bedroom, GUS has been working with different producers including Worsley, Robyn Dell’unto, Joel Stouffer and more to help develop a renowned pop sound.

At 18, GUS has already caught the eyes and ears of fans around the world. Growing up just outside of Toronto, GUS began writing his own material at 13. In 2018, he independently released his first single “Bigger Rush” which lead to being featured in a sing-off video with Johnny Orlando that has been viewed over 2.4 million times. Shortly after signing his first record deal on his 18th birthday, GUS released his debut EP “Lower Than the Ground” in 2019 GUS’ lyrics are drawn from real life; hanging out with friends, family, and moving away to university in a new city. Over the 22-date North American and European tour supporting Johnny Orlando, GUS routinely met fans who knew all the lyrics to his songs.
