So which songs have mirrored their chart positions in the UK top 40?
Well, four have so far. And by mirroring, we mean achieved the same chart positions going up and the same going down. These are:
Re-Flex – “The Politics Of Dancing” in 1984, who came in at No.34 and then went: 34-28-28-34
Gloria Estefan – “Get On Your Feet” in 1989, which did thus: 34-23-23-34
Not long after her came The Beloved with “The Sun Rising” at the end of 1989 and went: 37-26-26-37
And two years later it was Eric Clapton with “Wonderful Tonight” who progressed: 35-30-30-35
