Kylie’s epic global mega hit “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” is 21 years old in 2022 and she’s recently worked with South Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou on a new mix of the multi-million selling number one that many would say defines her.
This new mix sounds like an 80’s arcade game. Monotone. Plinky, but very cool and should turn heads about whether this new “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head” is the best version yet… Or could it be “Can’t Get Blue Monday Out Of My Head“… or at the end of the day, can the original ever be bettered?
Peggy Gou is based in Germany but has DJ’d in London and New York as well as releasing her own music, five EP’s so far and a collection of DJ mixes called “DJ-Kicks: Peggy Gou” in 2019. The 30 year old also appears in the reworked video which blends original footage along with some new backgrounds and a splash of colour all over it. Pink!
