THEN & NOW: a-ha

The boys from Norway are back in the game! a-ha are to release a brand new album, their first since “Cast In Steel” in 2015. “I’m In” is the brand new single from “True North”, which will be the band’s eleventh studio album since their debut, “Hunting High And Low”, back in 1985.

Morten, Mags and Pal have been touring reletlessly for some years now playing their greatest hits and now it’s time for something new, despite many times promising that “this album will be our last”. Formed 40 years ago, the trio have, off and on, been a constant in the popular music scene that has seen them shift over 100 million records worldwide.

With number one hits from their debut “Take On Me” to “The Sun Always Shines On TV“, “Train Of Thought” and the Bond theme “The Living Daylights“, a-ha took a break in 1994 to pursue personal goals. That done, they regrouped in 2000 for “Minor Earth, Major Sky” and were back at number one with the singles “Summer Moved On” and “Forever Not Yours” from the 2002 album, “Lifelines”.
