Irish quartet B*witched are back after a very long time away and they have an updated best of coming out that features their brand new single, “Birthday”. Edele Lynch, Keavy Lynch, Lindsay Armaou and Sinéad O’Carroll have all got back together for a 25th anniversary celebration of the release of their debut single, “C’est La Vie” in 1998.
The title of the song is also marked with the forthcoming update of “C’est La Vie – The Collection” and is their first new music since 2019’s “Hold On”. It’s been nine years since the girls released their last studio album, “Champagne Or Guinness”, which featured the comeback single, “Love And Money”.
B*witched arrived on the scene in May 1998 with “C’est La Vie”, which topped the Irish and UK singles chart and went top ten in America. The foursome clocked up three further UK number one’s with “Rollercoaster”, “To You I Belong” and “Blame It On The Weatherman”, all from their double Platinum selling self-titled debut album. Since being dropped by their record label in 2002, B*witched have pursued solo careers in music and acting before regrouping in 2012.
