KiD RAiN returns! But only “Half” of him!
Pop
KiD RAiN was feeling “Magic” the last time we caught up with him. He’s back for 2023 with his addictive new single, “Half”, having exceeded 250 million video views plus 30 million streams.
KiD RAiN’s enticing pop vocal brings plenty of laid-back charm to the instantly relatable “Half”. It’s a song about being in life’s in-betweens: when you’re no longer a kid, but don’t feel like an adult.
“Half” was written and produced solely by KiD RAiN, and mixed with Will Reeves as he climbs that pole ever higher with each new release since his smashing debut with “Say Yes“, which we exclusively revealed back in 2020. The charisma that shines within his songs and social media also translates to live shows.
As well as his own headline tours, KiD RAiN has played arenas as guests to The Vamps (even joining them on stage to perform Demi Lovato’s verse during “Somebody To You”), completed another arena run as part of a major Nickelodeon event, and headlined a stage at The Great Escape. He started 2023 with a School Night show at The Old Blue Last.
The musical project of Dan Reynard, ‘KiD RAiN’ started songwriting and producing when he was just 12-years-old, and those talents remain a key component of his artist identity right through to the present day. Further honing his skills via sessions with Tim Woodcock (Little Mix), Jim Irvin (Lana Del Rey, YUNGBLUD), the Grammy-nominated Mitch Jones (Ed Sheeran), King Ed (Years & Years) and Ryan Lawrie (BTS), KiD RAiN recently signed a publishing deal with the renowned Peermusic.
