FRESH: ‘We Could Be The One’ – Dannii Minogue

Dannii kissed a boy and found that “We Could Be The One”!

Pop

Dannii Minogue has returned to the recording studio after a good break and returns with her new song, “We Could Be The One”, which is the theme music to her gay dating show, I Kissed A Boy.

The show launched on 13th May on BBC iPlayer and then the following day on BBC3 as Dannii welcomes 10 single guys to Italy to stay in a beautiful country house called the Masseria in the hope to find love!

And it all starts with a kiss! The guys are matched up, and meet for the first time…with a kiss. No small talk. No messages. Just one kiss to test out their chemistry straight away! After meeting their match for the first time with a kiss, the boys are encouraged to get to know them and give their new relationship a good shot. The show will continue into June and July as contestants are eliminated per episode until the winning couple have been found.

Produced by Pop hitmaker Ian Masterson, “We Could Be The One” has a Balearic feel to it and definitely a Summer punch to the Pop-Dance soundtrack with that feelgood factor to entice anyone to meet and match this year. The song is Dannii’s first new material since “Galaxy” in 2017 and comes as she celebrates the 20th anniversary of her “Neon Nights” album this year, which has already seen remixes of “Don’t Wanna Lose This Feeling” and “I Begin To Wonder” surface.

The former Home and Away star made her music debut in her home country in 1990 with “Love And Kisses” and brought her own brand of Pop music to the rest of the world in 1991, clocking up top ten hits with “Jump To The Beat”, “This Is It” and “All I Wanna Do” while the 00’s brought even greater success with “Who Do You Love Now?” and the singles from the “Neon Nights” album in 2002-03. Dannii has been busy with her fashion ranges with her own show on QVC.
