Covering a Madonna classic is daring for any artist, but NY based singer Chloe Jane has taken on the challenge and pulled it off with her version of “Borderline“.

With a video filmed in NYC, the track’s visual stylistically pays homage to the Queen of Pop herself, but also serves as a tribute to the NYC club scene that shaped both her and Chloe’s respective careers.

“Borderline” is the latest teaser from Chloe following on from her own original singles “Sick Of Sadness” and “No Patience”, with Colombian artist Lalo Ebratt. The track itself, and its Spanglish nature, speaks on the songstress’ love for Latin music and influences, which have made an impact on her throughout her life. Both songs continue to build on her careert, which began in 2022 with the Reggae infused “Addicted” while “Sick Of Sadness” cements her Pop/Dance culture that leads well into her take on “Borderline”.

“Borderline” itself was written and recorded for Madonna‘s self-titled debut album in 1984 and could eventually make the top ten Stateside and No.2 in the UK when re-issued in 1986. Chloe Jane’s version moves the song into clubland and away from the Disco-Pop of the original, but with her shining vocals, the song is instantly recognisable.

Chloe Jane started singing and dancing at the age of 10. Learning piano at 9 years old led to her passion to write, perform and record her own songs. Summer holidays in Ibiza and a special friendship with the legendary DJ Jellybean Benitez(!) inspired her to go to the DJ school Dubspot in NYC and she started her professional DJ career by performing at the age of 12 at Le Ti and Do Brazil in St Barth. During the Summer of 2016 she performed professionally in Ibiza at KM5, spun at a string of Charity Events hosted by Paris Hilton and also became the youngest DJ ever, at the age of 13, to perform on centre stage at the famous nightclub Amnesia.
