Having returned from “America“, Scottish songwriter and artist ‘sadHAPPY’ releases the follow up, “Dance Again”, the second single off his forthcoming debut EP “Say Goodbye”.

The young Scotsman is set to make waves with his distinctly emotive take on electronic-pop that has pricked the ears of many in the media and also a growing list of followers.

sadHAPPY (real name Aaron Smith) wrote “Dance Again” with Amanda Kongshaug (who has collaborated with Zara Laarson, Armin Van Buuren and Afrojack) and James Carter (Punctual, Meduza and Elley Duhé), while tucked away in the Scottish countryside.

Following the release of “America”, the new single combines Aaron’s mature and yearning vocals with a tight and melodic house beat, a combination that brings out the emotional dexterity behind sadHAPPY as much as his appreciation for a true head-bopping banger.

sadHAPPY is the artist project of Scottish singer-songwriter Aaron Smith, who has opened for Ellie Goulding on tour and earned praise from tastemaker press such as NME, CLASH and Wonderland. The name sadHAPPY is inspired by the juxtaposition of life’s highs and lows, serving as a reminder to embrace both while working towards becoming the best version of yourself.
