Sam Smith – The Love Child Of Boy George And Tracy Chapman?

Sam Smith shot to fame after winning the Brit Awards ‘Critics Choice’ award.

Previous to winning the award I had only heard Sam feature on the song “La La La ” with Naughty Boy.

Sam didn’t get to sing at the awards ceremony so I didn’t hear his new music.

He then released a couple of songs and then the album “In The Lonely Hour” but I still didn’t pay enough attention.

It wasn’t until I saw him perform “Like I Can” on X Factor that I sat up and took notice.

This guy has a superb voice and if Tracy Chapman and Boy George had a love child, Sam Smith would be it.

His lyrics are very personal and his voice makes them even more bitter sweet. I will absolutely be paying him more attention.
