‘Everything Sucks’

“A coming-of-age story, set in the 1990s, that revolves around the A/V and drama clubs at an Oregon high school; the two crews of outsiders join forces to make a movie and endure the purgatory that is high school.”

I pretty much grew up in the 90s and as a huge fan of nostalgia –  I had high hopes for this.

I was anticipating that this show would be on a par with a UK show called ‘My Mad Fat Diary‘ because I LOVED that.

I was a little unsure about this after watching the first episode but I stuck with it and I am glad I did. I watched all episodes over one day and by the end I was really left hoping for more. Great characters, great soundtrack and a great trip back to the 90s!

The song used in the trailer and which could be the theme song for ‘Everything Sucks’ is a song called ‘Everything To Everyone‘ by Everclear.

Sadly, this show is not getting another season which is disappointing but don’t let that stop you watching and taking a trip down memory lane with the playlist!
