British group Club Drive return with their new single “WDYD” (“What Do You Do”)
by Christopher Smith
British guitar-pop trio Club Drive return with their brand new single “WDYD”. Opening with an infectious guitar riff, the track is just under three and a half minutes of pure pop perfection featuring slick vocals, sharp lyricism and deliciously funky melodies.
The band said of the track, “WDYD” is an important song to us, it was a real turning point in the writing process of the most recent record and sets the scene of the new music to come.”
“WDYD” follows previous singles “International”, “Spare Time” and “Voyager”, which enjoyed strong support from Radio 1 DJs including Alice Levine, Clara Amfo, Greg James, Scott Mills and Adele Roberts.
The Hertfordshire-based band were one of the highlights at The Great Escape this year and will be appearing on the Crystal Stage at Tramlines Festival on the 21st July.
