FRESH: ‘Walking Disaster’ – Amy Wadge

Songwriter and singer Amy Wadge has released her “Walking Disaster” EP

Bristol-born singer and songwriter Amy Wadge has released her six-track EP “Walking Disaster“. It was recorded in Nashville with guest appearances from Dan Tyminski, Lori McKenna and Emily Strayer and Martie Mcguire from The Dixie Chicks. Amy is no stranger to Nashville, having spent time there recently with non other than Kylie Minogue for her current smash hit album “Golden“, for which Amy co-wrote four of the tracks with Kylie herself.

Amy’s reputation as a solid, hit-making songwriter precedes her love of performing, having worked with artists like Shannon Saunders and most notably Ed Sheeran, including his multi-million selling 2014 single “Thinking Out Loud”.

Tracklisting for the EP is as follows:
1. Walking Disaster
2. River
3. Live or Die Love
4. Bad For Lovin You
5. When We Had Nothing
6. Thank Heaven I’m Healing

Amy first came to prominence as a singer songwriter in her own right. Having moved from her hometown of Bristol to study in Wales, she found herself at the heart of a hugely dynamic music scene, twice winning Best Female Artist at the Welsh Music Awards. The first time she did so, she won ahead of Charlotte Church and the second, ahead of Cerys Matthews! Amy toured the length and breadth of the UK, across Europe, in the US and Down Under, releasing five solo albums, various EPs and three collaborative albums with other artists along the way. Amy continues to tour regularly. However, since becoming a mother, Amy’s main focus has been on writing.

And on top of Ed, she has now added another global megastar to her ever growing portfolio, Kylie. Amy and Kylie worked together on four tracks for her number one album “Golden” including instant fan favourite “Sincerely Yours” and the heartfelt ballad “Radio On”, which showcases Kylie’s vocal abilities as a world class singer.
