Step Back!

Asher Knight has managed to find time while touring the UK with the Vamps to release a brand new EP!

Things are going from strength to strength for this 21 year old singer from Bradford, UK.

Asher first discovered his love for singing aged 16, initially reluctant to pursue a career in the music industry, he was introduced to renowned celebrity vocal coach CeCe Sammy to improve his confidence and their working relationship has flourished ever since.

Asher Knight has collaborated with non other than Mark Owen from Take That and Red Triangle to push the style of Asher and his music.

Asher now lives in London to focus on his music full time. As well as building an impressive catalogue of songs, Asher works with writing greats like Cuttfather, Terry Ronald, Jon Maguire and Jamie Sellers, Mark Owen and James Blunt and Olly Murs. and producers AC Burrell and Travis Payne. 2018 saw Asher supporting UK act Steps and then went on to perform as support act on the All Saints UK tour and gained a large number of fans. Asher was the main support act on Boyzone’s recent Farewell tour, Thank You & Goodnight. In May Asher continued to support The Vamps on their UK & Ireland tour.

“Step Back” is the lead track to the new EP and it targets Asher’s music style and brand and keeps the theme based around emotions and how people see themselves and how they need to keep strong against all the difficult times in life no matter how young or old they are.

Check out his YouTube channel as Asher loves doing acoustic cover versions such as this version of All Saint’s ‘Pure Shores’.

Stay tuned to Talk About Pop Music as we will be interviewing the man himself very soon!
