“Is There Anything Else” is about the insecurities I feel when somebody doesn’t like me, and how I tend to wish I looked different. The song starts out full of insecurity, but that changes throughout the song as I come to the realization that I shouldn’t have to change for someone to like me. Like a lot of people, I struggle with body image & I care way too much about what people think of me. I wanted this song to end with a glimpse of hope because there really is hope and we all have a purpose beyond our appearances!”.
Singer/songwriter Sara Kays captivates listeners through honest, heartbreaking stories inspired by her childhood and struggles with body image. Sara discovered her love for singing in her early teens, and a bigger love for songwriting soon after. In high school, she played a countless number of gigs in her Midwest hometown while shaping her sound that would eventually land somewhere between singer/songwriter and pop. Longing to get out of the Midwest, Sara made the move out to Music City in 2018 where her skills have since been pushed to the next level. Currently, Sara is releasing singles while writing and recording her next project.
