Author Gregory David Roberts releases debut single, “Drive All Night”
International best selling author Gregory David Roberts has recently rteleased his debut single, “Drive All Night” and has followed that in quick succession with a second, “Lisa Run Away”. The Reggae enthused groove features the vocals of Janeel Mills and Saine ‘Red’ Rapley and is the first taster of his debut album, “Love And Faith”, from which the follow up, “Lisa Run Away”, also features.
“Drive All Night” is produced by Gregory and Dale ‘Dizzle’ Virgo and offers perfect late night soothing soul or just to chill away the time and forgetting all your troubles. Gregory says of the song: “Music saved me, it inspired me in the midst of suffering, to keep going and never give up!”. While “Drive All Night” is easy to slip into, “Lisa Run Away” has a very pronounced beat and a slightly breezier pace to it, but nevertheless, acts as perfect companion to his debut release.
Australian born Gregory is best known for his 2003 novel Shantaram, which has sold over six million copies, and centres on a bank robber and heroin addict as he escapes from an Indian prison. Roberts followed this with The Mountain Shadow in 2015, both of which currently have TV series being made. Gregory’s next book, ‘The Spiritual Path’, is due to be published this year, while the album “Love And Faith” is released on 4th December.
