Irish pop artist Dean Robert has just released his PPP (pure power pop) anthem, “Gone”, his first of 2021 with Latin, R&M and EDM rhymes and rhythms following throughout.
“Gone” bounces and bumps with feel good vibes amid a torrid and tragic love story gone wrong. “Gone” unfolds one of those regretful times when you’ve met the right person, only to push them away.
The song deals with the resulting feelings which resonate after that, perhaps all too brief fling, with a percolating, carefree melody creating necessary contrast to its deeper personal qualities.
Dean made his debut in 2019 with “Your Life” and has been striving ever since to produce the best pop song he possibly can. With his most recent release, “Morning”, Dean really pushed himself and his creativeness and goes that extra mile with “Gone”.
Dean was previously the lead singer for the Irish rock soul group IKONICS, whose debut EP was produced by Phil McGee (Kodaline, The Script – both bands of which IKONICS supported on tour).
