She Made Me Do It

FRESH: ‘Otherworldly’ – She Made Me Do It

She Made Me Do It seek “Otherworldly”…

Punk Pop/Rock/Synth

UK duo She Made Me Do It enter 2021 in an “Otherworldly”. That’s their new single! A glorious rock/pop and synth track with heavy, fearce vocals and plenty of guitar and electronica to satisfy everyone.

The song is the first taster of their upcoming EP, due in March, their first since their debut album, “The Frantic Legion”, was released in 2017.

From the dark, dense and heavy post-punk pounding of “Never Sleep” to the electronically kinetic pop of “Otherworldly” via the bouncy riff-laden “Confessional Day”, the EP will be a rollercoaster trip inside the band’s hook-laden psyche.

She Made Me Do It are Shaheena Dax (Rachel Stamp) – Vocals, Bass, Keyboards and Will Crewdson (Rachel Stamp, Adam Ant band) Guitar, Vocals, Keyboards. They are joined live by Joe Holweger (Adam Ant Band) on drums. The duo say of “Otherworldly”: “The main theme being the out of body experience of betrayal combined with the physical experience of numbness, pain, and heartbreak late into the night”.

The pair formed in 2014 and released their debut single, “Garbo’s Pool” that same year with their first long player coming three years later. In 2019, She Made Me Do It released the heavy rock anthem “Drenched” and the Republica-esque “Fun And Games”, while the lone “Scorched” rocked its way through 2020 and beyond.
