Paul McKeever aka Oroco has released his emotional debut single, “Enough”, beginning with just his voice and a piano and rising to an orchestral backing.
In just one listen of “Enough”, you will admire Oroco’s talent for writing a poignant and beautiful song that confronts the fear of not being able to show your true self.
Oroco takes up the story: “My songwriting journey began when I was 12 years old, playing in various local bands in Northern Ireland as a young artist. This led me down a path to production, where I have spent my career focusing on producing music for the media. I have written songs for TV shows and online platforms, including Love Is Blind, The Voice UK, Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast, Neighbours and Home & Away. Although I’ve enjoyed many years in this creative process, I felt it was time for a change, and so Oroco was born”.
“Enough” also welcomes a new voice to the world, understated and yet sublime and one which makes no apologies for the rawness and the simplicity of this type of torchsong ballad. “Enough” is only the beginning of Paul’s new musical journey as Oroco. He has more releases coming throughout this year and if “Enough” only serves to wet our appetite, then I am hungry for more! Definitely one to watch out for in the months to come.
