Robbie has followed in the footsteps of his former bandmates Take That, Kylie, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and many others and ‘reimagined’ his greatest hits with the help of a full orchestra.
He will release “XXV” in September which is preceded by a new version of his biggest and best known hit, “Angels”, now amazingly 25 years old! Rob was a bit of a lost cause when he first broke free of TT and it took three singles before we fell in love with this vagabond.
“Angels” was released in December 1997 and although it only peaked at No.4 here in the UK, the song has sold a whopping 1.8 million copies along with a few million more globally.
