Jessie Ware is about to launch her fifth studio album, “That! Feels Good”, her first new body of work since 2020’s “What’s Your Pleasure?” She has been treating us to three of the songs from that album, which has seen her co-write all of the tracks, that are produced by Mr. “Confessions” and “Aphrodite“, Stuart Price.
Her first taster came last year with the uptempo “Free Yourself” and was followed earlier this year with the infuriatingly-brilliant “Pearls”. This week saw the release of “Begin Again” as the final teaser before the album itself lands. But there’s no “Kiss Of Life” anywhere to be seen! Her collaboration with Kylie sticks firmly in her “Disco” era of 2021.
Jessie scored her first hit back in 2012 with “If You’re Never Gonna Move” and clocked up further chart smash’s with “Tough Love” and “Say You Love Me”. “What’s Your Pleasure?” was purely delightful with the standout track “Spotlight” a Jessie must. Recent years has seen Jessie score entries on the US Dance chart with “Kiss Of Life” and more recently with the superb “Pearls”.
