THEN & NOW: Lemar

Lemar released his long-awaited album, “Page In My Heart”, earlier this year along with the comeback single “Future Love“. He’s followed that with the second track “Dust”, which finds him in euphoric mood even though the song has a regretful tone, yet with acceptance along the way.

“Page In My Heart” comes eight years since his last long player, “The Letter”, in 2015 and sees Lemar working again with writer and producer Craig Hardy, with whom he created his debut album “Dedicated”, twenty years ago. The album and singles are being released on his own label, AMP, another solid move for the singer who entered the Fame Academy television series in 2002.

He released his debut single, “Dance With U”, the following year and took it to No.2 in the UK, the first of seven top ten hits and ten top 40 charting singles. His first three albums went Platinum and were also successful across Europe. Lemar has been touring the new album so make sure you catch him on his travels this year!
