Pop

Faster than a speeding bullet, KiD RAiN hits back with the follow up to his recent “Half” with his brand new euphoric masterpiece, “Something To Hate”.

With a growing catalogue of instantly addictive songs together with a rare mix of captivating star quality and boy-next-door relatability, KiD RAiN has everything in place to be the UK’s next pop star!

“Something To Hate” captures everything which makes KiD RAiN a major contender for the next big thing in British Pop, his bright and charismatic vocal supported by punchy pop beats and a hook so alluring you’ll remember it after just one listen. Just as importantly, his lyrics hit right at the heart of coming-of-age experiences that everyone goes through: in this case being angry after a break-up – even if you know deep down that however sad you are, sometimes you just can’t hate your ex.

KiD RAiN – (Dan Reynard) started playing a variety of instruments as a child, before starting to write songs at the age of 12 and then putting together a home studio in his teens. Inspired by The 1975, Coldplay and OneRepublic, his artist identity emerged fully formed when he debuted as KiD RAiN just three years ago. TikTok has been a big part of his rise, with fans falling for his engaging humour, improvised light-hearted songs, and his infectious love of performing.

His songs are the foundation behind everything he has achieved. On his upcoming EP, he’s worked with Will Reeves(Stormzy, G-Eazy, Joy Crookes) and Charlie Holmes (Ed Sheeran, Niall Horan, Anne Marie), building upon his previous sessions with Tim Woodcock (Little Mix), Jim Irvin (Lana Del Rey, YUNGBLUD), the Grammy-nominated Mitch Jones (Ed Sheeran), King Ed (Years & Years) and Ryan Lawrie (BTS).
