THEN & NOW: Rozalla

Rozalla is back with new music, her brand new single “Lotta Love” was released on Monday and she has a new album on the way, “Turn On The Light”, the title track itself having been released back in 2019. “Lotta Love” follows on from her recent singles “Magnificent” and “Lovefool” and is a slinky, Soul-R&B uptempo number.

33 years on and Rozalla is still in our sights, whether recording and releasing new music or jolting our memories through the many TV ads that still use her debut single, “Everybody’s Free” to promote their wares and services. “Turn On The Light” will be her first album of fresh material since “Brand New version” in 2009 and will feature 13 tracks, many of them co-written by the lady herself.

Fast forward to 1994, and thirty years ago Rozalla was in the charts with her cover of “I Love Music“, which went to No.1 on the US Club chart, and the fantastic “You Never Love The Same Way Twice”, her second UK top twenty hit of that year, both of which featured on her album “Look No Further”.
