British producer Majestic has just released his new interpretation of Boney M’s classic, “Rasputin” as part of a new album celebrating the quartet’s contribution to music history. “The Magic Of Boney M.” brings together all their hits as well as new mixes and previously unreleased material.
“Rasputin” was originally released in October 1978 and was a top ten hit across Europe, South America and Australia, although the track was not initially released in North America itself. It was the second single to come from their album “Nightflight To Venus”, which topped the charts in five countries and has sold over four million copies.
