80’s star Sinitta – who features in our Where Are They Now? series – is back with a new single, the latest in a line of new tunes she has been releasing over the past two or three years. “Do It To Me Baby” is a sexy pop-dance tune complete with Sinitta’s instantly recognisable vocals and a video filmed mostly in a London cab!
Sinitta burst into the charts back in 1986 with “So Macho”, which peaked at No.2 in the UK. A string of hits followed when Sinitta worked with legendary producers Stock Aitken Waterman including “Toy Boy” and “G.T.O.” in 1987, “Cross My Broken Heart” and “I Don’t Believe In Miracles” in 1988 and “Right Back Where We Started From” in 1989.
In 1992, Sinitta returned to the top 40 with her version of “Shame Shame Shame”, a song later recorded by future Bond girl Izabella Scorupco. Sinitta has continually popped up on TV and has recently appeared on stage around the UK in the hit musical Chicago, while also promoting new recordings and old favourites.
