As part of Louise’s upcoming greatest hits package, she has ‘re-imagined’ the Eternal songs she recorded with the group before leaving in 1994. The latest offering is “Just A Step From Heaven”, which Louise had previously performed and shot a video at home for during lockdown.
“Just A Step From Heaven” was Eternal’s third single, released in April 1994. It peaked at No.8 in the UK and spent eight weeks in the top 40. The single was a remixed version of the original which featured on the four girls debut album, “Always And Forever”. The album also featured their cover of “Stay” (their first single), “Save Our Love”, “So Good”, “Oh Baby, I…” and “Crazy”. “Always And Forever” would sell over 1.2 million copies UK alone.
“Just A Step From Heaven” is the second slice to come from Louise’s second greatest hits package (her first was “Changing Faces – The Best Of Louise” back in 2001) and follows on from her brand new 80’s sounding hit “Super Magic“, the video for which was released last month.
